Tour Map
The journey starts in Cairo and Giza, then flies to Luxor. From there you sail on the Nile through Edfu and Kom Ombo to Aswan, fly to Abu Simbel on Egypt’s southern border, and return to Cairo via Aswan for your departure.
Itinerary
Day 1 (Friday): Touchdown in Cairo Arrival: Arrive at Cairo Airport. Our meet-and-assist service will take you from just outside your gate through the passport control area and help you through luggage claim and customs. Then they will accompany you to your hotel in Cairo.
Overnight: at Four Seasons Nile Plaza Hotel. (01 Nile View Room – Double)
Day 2 (Saturday): Grand Egyptian Museum, Giza Pyramids & the Sphinx (Breakfast, Lunch) Breakfast at your hotel.
07:30 Meet with your Egyptologist throughout your trip to Egypt.
Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM): The Grand Egyptian Museum is the world’s largest archaeological museum dedicated to a single civilization, showcasing thousands of ancient Egyptian treasures, including the complete collection of King Tutankhamun, near the Pyramids of Giza.
Lunch: Dine at authentic local restaurant.
Giza Pyramids: Proceed to the Pyramids of Giza. The only present-day survivors of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, they are among the world’s greatest t ourist attractions and never lose their ability to inspire and overwhelm visitors.
Sphinx: Visit to the mysterious Sphinx, an ancient figure shrouded in legend and mystery. Your Egyptologist will enthral you about this fascinating figure.

Day 3 (Sunday): Saqqara, Islamic Cairo & Khan El Khalili (Breakfast, Lunch) 08:30 Pick up from your hotel.
Saqqara: Drive to Saqqara , the necropolis of Memphis, home of the step pyramid, the first limestone structure ever built. Explore its 4350 years old colored tombs. Get the chance to go inside a pyramid and see the ancient Hieroglyphics that have been engraved on its walls for thousands of years.
Tour Islamic Cairo to visit the Citadel, a spectacular medieval fortress dating from the 12th century and perched on a hill above the city. Also located in the Citadel are the Mosq ue and Tomb of the great Ottoman ruler Mohamed Ali.
Lunch: Dine at authentic local restaurant.
Khan El Khalili Bazar: Proceed to the fascinating Kha n El-Khalili Bazaar – reputed to be the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Originally founded as a watering stop for caravanserai in the 14th century, the bazaar has now grown to vast proportions.

Day 4 (Monday): Fly to Luxor & Embark (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Breakfast: Breakfast & hotel Check out
Flight: Board your Egypt Air flight to Luxor.
Arrive at Luxor Domestic Airport.
Transfer: You will be transferred by air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise “The Sonesta St. George Nile Cruise” .
12:00 Embarkation before lunch

Visit East Bank (Karnak and Luxor Temple)
Visit the temple of Karnak , the largest religious complex that was ever built for a god in the history of mankind. The temple is dedicated to the god Amon Ra, the chief god in Ancient Egypt. Then visit the Luxor temple that was predominantly built by Pharaoh Ramses II.

Day 5 (Tuesday): West Bank & Sail to Edfu (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, start the day by visiting the Valley of the Kings, hidden behind the mountains on the west bank of the Nile.
Then have an off-beaten-track Visit the temple of Hatshepsut , the only female Pharaoh who dressed and ruled Egypt like a king. Have a photo stop by the huge colossi of Memnon, after lunch, set sail up the Nile to the town of Edfu.

Day 6 (Wednesday): Edfu & Kom Ombo (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, by a horse carriage you will visit the temple of Horus at Edfu , the most intact temple from the ancient world. Sail to Kom Ombo Temple dedicate d to the crocodile and the falcon gods. Visit the Crocodile Mummification Museum to see crocodile mummies that are thousands of years old.
Overnight in Kom Ombo.
Day 7 (Thursday): Aswan: Philae, Elephantine & Felucca (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast, disembark your cruise & enjoy a relaxing morning by visiting the Island of Philae and the temple of Isis, the goddess of love and passion in ancient Egypt afterwards. Start an off-beaten-track walk on the Island of Elephantine , explore the Nubian culture & meet with Nubian successful women to learn about their culture. End up your day on a legendary felucca sailboat ride down the Nile.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 8 (Friday): Abu Simbel & Return to Cairo (Breakfast, Lunch) Breakfast: Breakfast & hotel Check out. Transfer: Transfer to Aswan Domestic Airport. Flight: Board your Egypt Air flight to Abu Simbel.
Arrive: at Abu Simbel Airport and transfer to Abu Simbel Temples.
Abu Simbel Temples: The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramsses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also
called The Sun Temple of Ramssess II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramsses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one.
Transfer: You will be transferred by air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Simbel Airport.
Flight: Board your Egypt Air flight to Cairo via Aswan. Transfer to Le Meridien Cairo Airport Hotel. Dinner tonight will be under your own arrangements.
Overnight: at Waldorf Astoria Hotel. (1 Deluxe Room- Double)
Day 9 (Saturday): Farewell, Egypt (Breakfast) Breakfast: Breakfast at your hotel & checkout.
Transfer: Transfer to Cairo International Airport. (03 hours before the International Take off time)
