Cairo gives you the pyramids. Luxor gives you the pharaohs’ final resting place. This five-day tour gives you both — the Pyramids of Giza and Tutankhamun’s golden treasures in Cairo, then a short flight south to stand inside the actual tomb where his mummy still lies, deep in the Valley of the Kings. In between: the Sphinx, a camel ride across the sand, and the largest temple complex ever built for a single god at Karnak. Nothing rushed, nothing shared with strangers — just your own private Egyptologist and private vehicle, door to door.

From touchdown, you’re taken care of: our meet-and-assist team walks you through passport control, baggage claim, and customs, then takes you straight to the Four Seasons Nile Plaza for your first two nights in Cairo. A domestic flight carries you to Luxor, where you’ll spend a night at the Hilton overlooking the Nile before your final night back near Cairo Airport, ready for departure. Tour Map

This itinerary spans two cities linked by a short domestic flight — from the pyramid fields and museums of Cairo, south to the temples and royal tombs of Luxor, and back to Cairo for your final night before departure.

Itinerary

DAY 1 — Touchdown in Cairo
Arrival, meet-and-assist through the airport, transfer to the Four Seasons Nile Plaza, Nile View Room.

DAY 2 — Pyramids, Sphinx & the Egyptian Museum (Breakfast, Lunch)
7:30 AM start. The Pyramids of Giza, a camel ride across the sand, and the Sphinx face to face. Lunch. The Egyptian Museum and Tutankhamun’s golden treasures. Back by 4 PM; evening free.

DAY 3 — Fly to Luxor: Karnak & Luxor Temples (Breakfast)
Breakfast, checkout, flight to Luxor. The Temple of Karnak — the largest religious complex ever built for a single god — then Luxor Temple. Check in to the Hilton Luxor, Nile View Room. Lunch and dinner on your own.

DAY 4 — The Valley of the Kings & Return to Cairo (Breakfast)
Breakfast, checkout. The Valley of the Kings — stand face to face with Tutankhamun’s mummy, plus the Tomb of Ramses VI. Lunch on your own. Fly back to Cairo, transfer to Le Meridien Cairo Airport Hotel, Deluxe Room.

DAY 5 — Farewell (Breakfast)
Breakfast, then transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight home.
